JULIUS CAESAR
The Roman Empire is known as ‘the beast’. The Roman Empire owes its roots to Julius Caesar. For 12 years, between 60 BC and 48 BC, Julius Caesar conquered most of Western Europe, and then also took over the whole of Eastern Europe and North Africa from his companions in 48 BC. A few years later, a band of conspirators put him to death in 44 BC. It was not until 27 BC before Caesar’s adopted son Octavian came to rule. Octavian was known as Caesar Augustus (“the revered one”) and he became the first Emperor. It was during the reign of Augustus that Jesus Christ was born. Previously it had been the Roman Republic, but now under Julius Caesar and then Octavian, it had become the Roman Empire.
MESSING WITH THE TEMPLE OF GOD
Julius Caesar became interested in Jerusalem, and when he removed the daily sacrifice from God’s temple there, Satan entered him. He then began to manifest the abominations of Egypt. During the few short years before his death, between 48 BC and 44 BC, a different system of government took over which Julius Caesar learned from Egypt. Julius Caesar made himself as god with the sun worship of the Egyptians by introducing their 365-day year solar calendar. This prohibited the people of God from worshipping God according to the calendar laid out in the Scriptures. By siding with Egypt, Julius Caesar tapped the ancient spiritual power that had kept Israel in bondage for 400 years. Egypt was indeed the very first power of the world. So, Julius Caesar became anti-Christ.
THE CALENDAR BECOMES EGYPTIAN
The original calendar God made is based upon the moon and harvest seasons. Typically, the number of months in God’s year is not the same from year to year. Most years it is 12 new moon months (360 days), ‘leap’ years are 13 new moon months (390 days), which occur seven times every 19 years, depending on the harvest. Also, the day begins when the sun goes down, in the evening, instead of midnight.
Our [Roman] calendar is not from God in origin. It descends directly from the Egyptians, who originated the 12 month year, 365 day system. An Egyptian scientist, Sosigenes, suggested this plan to the Emperor Julius Caesar, who directed that it go into effect throughout the Roman Empire in 45 B.C. Julius Caesar did this so that he could celebrate the birth of his sun god ’sol’ every ’solar’ year on 25th December. As adopted, the Calendar indicated its origin by the names of the months – called after the Egyptian-pagan gods Janus, Maia, Juno, etc. The days of the week however were not named, but numbered on a complicated system involving Ides, Nones, and Calends.
CHRISTMAS AND BIRTHDAYS
Before Christmas came into existence, Julius Caesar celebrated a birthday on 25th of December. It was the birthday of his sun god “sol”. Many years before the birth of Christ, the Romans called their winter holiday Saturnalia, honoring Saturn, the God of Agriculture. In January, they observed the Kalends of January, which represented the triumph of life over death. This whole season was called Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, the Birthday of the Unconquered Sun. The festival season was marked by much merrymaking.
Today, the world celebrates the birth of a Christ on the 25th of December, but which Christ is this? Its actually the sun god. The actual date of the birthday of Jesus Christ is not mentioned in the Bible, even though the birth of Jesus Christ is covered in detail. Christmas celebrations are not mentioned in the bible. The Scriptures do not teach us to celebrate Jesus’ birthday on any other day either. Birthday celebrations are an ancient Egyptian custom and traditionally very evil. Pharoah’s birthday is mentioned in the Scriptures in Genesis 40:20. On Pharoah’s birthday the baker was hanged for no apparent reason. The only other person whose birthday is mentioned in the Scriptures is Evil King Herod in Matthew 14:6. It was the occasion of Herod’s birthday that allowed John the Baptist to be beheaded. These are the only times birthday celebrations are mentioned in the Holy Bible.
Birthdays, and all sorts of Anniversary celebrations are therefore rooted in the Astrology of Egypt, which became Western Astrology.
